Do you want your upper elementary students to have meaningful morning work? These social studies writing prompts are perfect! This Day in History resource has a historical event for each day of February! Students will learn about an event in history and have a writing prompt, too!

This Day in History has one page for students to complete every day in February. Students will read a fact about a historical event that happened that day in history. Then students will respond to a writing prompt with their opinion about this day in history.

This Day in History resource comes in both print and digital formats. Students can write on the paper copy each morning, or you can share it with them through a Google Slide.
